simple but special

I used to wear a tiny baby ring on my pinky finger that my mother had given to me.

It was just a simple gold band I wore on the top on my finger. To my surprise, I received a ton of compliments on it. Sadly, during our big move to Baltimore, it got lost in the clutter. After hours of looking online for something to fill the void, I stumbled upon these precious little rings by catbird.

inspiration for brunch

I was looking for some inspiration for a brunch I wanted to put together. It seemed that there were so many endless possibilities but I adored this one from hostessblog.com

The tiny chalkboards and little touches really made this set up special. The nice part about this brunch is that it could easily be for any occasion and not necessarily just a baby shower.

After years of collecting cookbooks, loving food blogs, and just being a food lover in general, I have decided to create a blog of my own. I'm excited to get things up and running and am in the process so please stay tuned!
